James Peter Young, 75, died suddenly on August 5 at his home in Woodbury, CT. He was born in Stamford, CT, son of Peter and Olive Young. He lived in Woodbury with his companion of 45 years, Jill R. Grickis. Jim graduated from the University of Bridgeport with a B.S. in Industrial Relations. He retired from Bristol Babcock in Watertown where he worked in marketing. He was an active member of Christ Episcopal Church in Bethany. Jim loved his church and did whatever he could to help it progress. He was a happy person who cared for other more than himself.

Church Services will be held on Saturday, August 11 at 10:00 AM at Christ Episcopal Church. Burial will follow at New Pine Grove Cemetery, Waterbury. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Christ Episcopal Church 526 Amity Rd Bethany, CT 06524.
