IN LOVING MEMORY OF
James F.
Wilhelmy
June 4, 1958 – January 8, 2011
WOODBURY- James F. Wilhelmy, 52, of Woodbury, died Saturday, January 8, 2011 at Waterbury Hospital. He was the husband of Shirley (Ferry) Wilhelmy.
James was born June 4, 1958 in Cleveland, Oh, son of the late Robert and Rita (Argalli) Wilhelmy. He has resided in Woodbury for the past 3 years, previously living in Shelton. He graduated from Staples High School, Westport in 1976 and attended Stetson University, Deland, Fl. James graduated from Oglethorpe University, GA with a bachelors degree in business. He was a self employed contractor and was a member of the Waterbury Country Club.
An avid golfer, Jim was a two-time Club Champion at Aspetuck Valley CC in Easton, CT. He also won the President's Cup at Longshore Country Club in Westport, CT, and organized annual golf trips to Myrtle Beach for his grateful friends for over 2 decades.
Jim enjoyed scuba diving, downhill skiing and was a loyal and passionate fan of the Cleveland Browns and New York Yankees.
Jim lived a full but too short life on his own terms. He had a great sense of humor, made people feel special, and was always the "life of the party." He leaves a large void in the many lives he touched. We will miss him dearly.

Bloomquist of Newtown, CT, his mother and father in-law Jeannette and William Ferry of Tilton, NH, sisters in-law Jeanne Zaccaroli of Savannah, GA and Carol Hutchens of Newtown, CT and16 nieces and nephews.
