James T. Soresino, 71, of Naugatuck, CT, passed peacefully on Wednesday April 16 th,

2025, surrounded by his loving family at Hartford Hospital after a brief illness. Born

December 5 th, 1953, he was the son of George Soresino and Phyllis Elizabeth Soresino.

James was predeceased by his wife of thirty years, Linda (Drake) Soresino.

James worked as a Maintenance Mechanic for Platt Brothers in Waterbury for 33 years

until he retired in 2017.

James was an avid car enthusiast and loved taking his corvette on cruise nights.

James will be greatly missed by the loved ones he leaves behind, George Soresino of

Hollister, FL, June Cheatham of Belleville, IL, Shelia and James Baker of Old Monroe

MO, Deborah and Mario Mazzettini of Bethany, CT, Beverly Drake of Shelton, CT, David

and Joan Drake of Bristol, CT and Arthur and Brenda Drake of Plymouth, CT. James

also leaves behind several nieces, nephews and great nieces whom he loved and

cherished.

Calling hours will be held for James on Saturday, April 26 th, 2025, from 9:00 AM – 10:30

AM with a Service at 10:30 at the Munson-Lovetere Funeral Home, Woodbury. Followed

by a burial at New North Cemetery, Woodbury.
