James 'Mark' Ramey, a resident of Southbury, CT, passed away peacefully in his home from complications of COVID-19 on Thursday, February 11th, 2021 at the age of 64.

Mark was a devoted father and is survived by his two sons, Dr. Benjamin J Ramey (New York City) and Mr. Paul Ramey (Washington DC), his parents Ms. Phyllis Ammons and Mr. Jack Ramey (Waynesville, NC), his siblings Becky, Terry, and Carol Ramey (Waynesville, NC) as well as several nephews, nieces, cousins, and close friends. He will be remembered with love.

Mark was born in Waynesville, North Carolina on December 4th, 1956 and attended Tuscola High School and Western Carolina University. He was a great lover of music, sports, and his North Carolina Tarheels. Professionally, he was a Certified Public Accountant and held positions with Duracell, Schick, Stanley Black and Decker, and most recently Harvest Hill Beverage Company.

Services will be private, but friends and family may honor his memory by making a charitable donation to Feeding America's COVID-19 fund.
