James Marvin McQueen, 84, formerly of Munson Road died on March 16, 2025 at Glendale of Naugatuck. He was the husband of the late Lorraine (Cucolo) McQueen.

James was born March 4, 1941 in Hyden, Kentucky the son of the late Steve and Ora (Muncy) McQueen. He graduated Waterbury State Technical College and served in the United States Coast Guard. James owned a successful engineering company, McQueen Engineering, Inc.

He loved travelling to St Croix for annual family vacations, and always enjoyed Sunday dinners with his  extended family.

He is survived by his daughter Cheryl Brundage (Thomas), his grandchildren, Alyssa Aiello (Michael), Zachary Day and Griffin Day, a great grandson Michael T. Aiello, his sister Mary, several brother and sister in laws and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his loyal wife of over 60 years, he was predeceased by his daughter Debra McQueen and his siblings.
