JAMES MACKERRACHER


SANDY HOOK- James MacKerracher, 86, a long-time resident of Woodbury, died Thursday, June 27, 2013 at Masonicare in Newtown. He was the husband of Elizabeth (Aitcheson) MacKerracher.

James was born February 26, 1927 in Waterbury, CT, son of the late Kenneth and Ella (Danisavage) MacKerracher. He was an engineering aid having been employed at Perkin Elmer for many years. He was a US Army veteran of WW II and a member of King Solomon's Lodge and North Congregational Church, Woodbury.

Besides his wife of 62 years, he leaves a son 'Kenny' MacKerracher of Ocean Springs, MS, two daughters, Dale Bombala, Australia as well as two grandchildren, Claire Constans-Gavarry and Devon Mackerracher. He was predeceased by a sister, Irma MacKerracher.
