He was born on March 30, 1911 in Manchester, England. Shortly after his first birthday, the family immigrated to the United States and settled in Derby, Ct where he attended public schools and graduated from Derby High School. He married the late Julia Wasilkowich in 1934, and their 60 year marriage ended upon her death in 1995. He is survived by his two daughters, Judith C. Aiken (James Sr.) of Shelton, and Jean C. Sharpe (Rev. J. Larry Sharpe) of Charlotte, NC. He leaves four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Jack was a 65 year master mason, belonging to George Washington Lodge No. 89, formerly of Ansonia, and King Hiram Lodge No. 12 in Shelton.
