SOUTHBURY- Mrs. Isabell (Pratt) Brooks, 98, formerly of Woodbury, died Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at Bethel Health Care Center. She was the widow of Cavil R. Brooks.

Mrs. Brooks was born July 17, 1911 in Peekskill, NY, daughter of the late George D. and Louise Victoria Pratt. She was a teacher in the Peekskill School System for 25 years. Having lived in Southbury, she served on the Condo 18 Board and the Women's Exchange at Heritage Village, While in Peekskill she was a former member and president of the Peekskill Women's Club; Garrison Country Club and Hudson Valley Yacht Club. Mrs. Brooks was a member of the Church of the Epiphany, Southbury, CT.

She is survived by a son in-law, John A. Williams of Effingham, NH, grandsons William Fisher of Broadlands, VA, Wayne Fisher of S. Salem, NY and Tim Williams of Oklahoma, OK, great grandsons Ryan, Jeremy and Sean Williams all of Oklahoma City, OK.

She predeceased by her daughters, Anne Louise Brooks and Judith Brooks Williams.

Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

Services: A memorial service will be held at the Church of the Epiphany, 262 Main St. North Southbury on Saturday, June 5th at 11 a.m.
