Irmgard Arend, 96, of East Hill Rd., died Thursday August 24th at East Hill Woods Health Care Center. She was the widow of Carl Arend.
Mrs. Arend was born October 20, 1909 in Germany. She moved to the United States when she was 14 years old and worked as a nanny for a family in New York City. Her hobbies included gardening.
She is survived by a daughter Ingrid Buswell of Bethlehem, a sister Ursula Ulrich of California, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
All services and burial are private. The Woodbury Funeral Home of Munson - Lovetere, 2 School St., is in charge of arrangements.
