Southbury


Longtime Southbury resident Inez T Clark passed away Saturday March 12th at her Pomperaug Woods residence.

Inez was well known in Southbury for her service as Head Librarian at Pomperaug Elementary, and then as Town Clerk.

She was the daughter of State Senator and Naugatuck Superior Court Judge Claremont Tolles.
In 1950 she and her husband Orvid moved from Waterbury to a home in the White Oaks section of Southbury. And later building a home with a pond on Dublin Hill Road.

Inez is survived by a son, Alan, who resides in Florida, her daughter, Sharon, who lives on Dublin Hill Road, five grandchildren, Brenda, Sarah, Tiffany, Annette, and Paul, and a great grandson Connor.

Services: A memorial service will be held on March 16, 2011 at 3 p.m. in The Garden Room at Pomperaug Woods.
