December 17, 1922 – January 28, 2010
Henry Kramer Bacon, 87, of Naugatuck, formerly of Woodbury, went home to his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Thursday, January 28, after a long illness. Born in Philadelphia in 1922 to Charles and Evelyn Bacon, Mr. Bacon served in the United States Army from 1943 to 1946. In 1948, he married the late Ruth Anna Bacon, to whom he was married for fifty-eight years, and he earned a bachelor's degree in chemistry from Temple University. For forty-nine years he served in the office of elder at Westminster Orthodox Presbyterian Church, Hamden. He was employed by Bristol-Babcock for twenty-eight years and lived in Woodbury for forty-five years before moving to Naugatuck.
Mr. Bacon is survived by five sons, William Bacon and his wife Ruth of Durham, Daniel Bacon of Girdletree, MD, Joel Bacon and his wife Janet of North Hills, PA, Karl Bacon and his wife Jackie of Naugatuck, Peter Bacon and his wife Martha, of Derry, NH; a daughter, Martha Quinto and her husband Jeff, of Wallingford; 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
A private interment service will be held in the Old North Cemetery, Woodbury in the spring.
Memorials: Memorial contributions may be made to the Phil Mont Christian Academy Scholarship Fund, 35 Hillcrest Avenue, Erdenheim, PA 19038.

Services: A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 6 at 11: 00 a.m. at Westminster Orthodox Presbyterian Church, 565 Shepard Ave, Hamden.
