Henrietta M. (Mehlig) Propst, died Sunday November 7, 2010 at Danbury Hospital.

Mrs. Propst was born December 14, 1941 in Saugerties, NY, daughter of the late Charles and Henrietta (Koenig) Mehlig. She has resided in Southbury for the past ten years, previously living in Brookfield. Mrs. Propst retired from the Savings Bank of Danbury as a teller supervisor and had worked for several other banking institutions.
She enjoyed reading and loved to travel. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by a son, Cline M. Propst, III and his wife Sharon of Coventry, RI, a daughter Deborah LaBella and her husband Chris of Stuart, FL, two brothers, Carl Mehlig of Kingston, NY and Edward Mehlig of Albany, NY, a sister Ella Flynn of New Bern, NC, five grandchildren, Katie, Kristen and Lori of Stuart FL and Aaron and Amy of Coventry, RI and two nieces and three nephews.

Location: Munson-Lovetere Southbury

Services: A funeral service will be held on Wednesday November 10th at noon at the Southbury Funeral Home of Munson-Lovetere, 235 Main St. North. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery, Southbury.

Visitation: Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
