Helen Platte, 97, of Heritage Road, Southbury, CT, died Friday, July, 18, 2008 at Pomperaug Woods Health Care Center. She was the wife of the late C. Richard Platte. Mrs. Platte was born July 12, 1911 in Brooklyn, New York, daughter of the late William James and Lulu (Hamlin) Harrison. Mrs. Platte also lived in Pleasantville, NY, Rowayton, CT and Heritage Village, Southbury, CT. She was an active member of the Christian Scientist Church in Southbury. She is survived by three sons, Curtis R. Platte, Jr. of Amelia Island, FL, John D. Platte of Savanna, Ga., William J. Platte of Bozman, Montana, 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
