Helen L. Hibbard passed away peacefully on

Thursday, December 29, 2016 at Pomperaug Woods in Southbury, Connecticut at

the age of 102.

Helen was a long-time resident of the New York area, where she enjoyed a long

and happy marriage with De Forrest ("Dee") Hibbard.  After Dee passed away, she

moved to Southbury where she resided, eventually moving to Pomperaug Woods

where she enjoyed her final years.

Helen was energetic and witty; the life of the party.  She retained her humor and her

zest for life right to the end.

Helen is survived by numerous nieces, nephews and good friends.

Calling hours will be held Wednesday January 4, 2016 from 9:00 – 10:00 A.M. in the Chapel and a funeral mass directly following at 10:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Church, 910 Main St S, Southbury, CT. Burial will be at Ferncliff Cemetery, Hartsdale, NY at 2:30 P.M.
