WATERTOWN- Mrs. Helen DelCioppo, 85, of Watertown died Sunday, November 2, 2008 at her home. She was the wife of John DelCioppo.
Mrs. DelCioppo was born August 2, 1923 in Woodbury, daughter of the late Anthony G. And Florence (Shaw) Pesente. She lived in Woodbury for 12 years and attended Pomperaug Grammar School and was a communicant of St. John of the Cross Church.
Mrs. DelCioppo had moved to Middlebury and graduated from Shepardson School and later from Crosby High School. She then attended Post Junior College until WW II, when she worked for the Naval Inspection Service. After the war, she worked for Uniroyal and retired after 30 years of service. Mrs. DelCioppo and her husband resided in Watertown since 1960.
Besides her husband, she leaves two sisters, Jean Pesce of Middlebury and Lillian Stowe of Naugatuck, a nephew, Mark Pesce and three brothers in-law.
