Helen (Doyle) Chalker passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at the River Glen Health Care Center in Southbury. Helen was born in Middletown, on June 10, 1925 and was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School. She was the beloved wife for 68 years of Wesley E. Chalker of Southbury. She lived for many years in Milford and Orange before retiring with her husband to Bonita Springs, FL. She and her husband returned to Southbury to be closer to family in 2007. She is survived by her husband Wesley; her children, Wesley Jr. and his wife Marcia of Mendham, NJ, David of Newington, Nancy Mastrobattisto and her husband Perry of Southbury and Thomas and his wife Elizabeth of Clinton; 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all who knew her and will be greatly missed.

Services: Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 9, 2014 at 3: 00 p.m. at the Southbury Funeral Home of Munson-Lovetere, 235 Main St. North.

Visitation: Visitation will be held Sunday, November 9, 2014 at the funeral home from 2 to 3 p.m.
