Harold R. Freedman , 88, of Southbury passed on May 31, 2017. He was the husband of Helene Freedman. Harold was born on January 12, 1929, in New Haven, CT. He was proud of his military service as a member of the U.S. Navy and Korean War veteran. He founded, owned and operated a small business in Amherst, NY for over 25 years, and resided in Heritage Village with Helene spouse for over 23 years.

He is survived by wife of 62 years Helene Freedman, son Richard Freedman and wife Marly of Bethesda, MD, son Michael Freedman and wife Adeline of Novato, CA, daughter Audrey Aledort and husband Robert of Brookfield, CT, and six grandchildren.
