Gordon MacNeill Morehouse

Southbury- Gordon M. Morehouse, age 84, passed away after a short illness on January 8, 2021.  Born March 10, 1936 to Charles W. and Frieda H. (MacNeill) Morehouse.

Gordon was raised in Danbury and attended Morris St. School and graduated from Danbury High School, class of 1955.  He then went on to Becker Junior College and graduated with a degree in accounting.  In 1958 he served his country in the army stationed in Kasiserslautern, Germany for two years.

He is survived by his wife, Linda A. (Lee) Morehouse of 56 years and their three children, Robert M. and his wife Mary A., Andrew G. and his wife Teresa and Debra L.  Also, survived by his loving grandchildren Daniel and wife Lauren, Benjamin and wife Juhee, Adam and wife Jennifer, Mackenzie, Raquel, Nicholas and Sarah.  Survived also by three great grandchildren Madison, Matthew and Ella. He will also be missed by many nieces and nephews.  He is predeceased by his brother C. David Morehouse.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the South Britain Congregational Church.  A memorial service is planned for the Spring.
