Gertrude (Trudy) Forrest, 97, of Southbury died Friday March 22, 2013 at Middlebury Convalescent Home, after a long illness. She was the widow of George Forrest who died in 1997.
She is survived by her niece, Carole Angus of Heritage Village and many more nieces and nephews.
She and her husband George came to Heritage Village in 1971 and were delighted to be "Villagers", participating in and volunteering for its many activities.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Middlebury Convalescent Home for their care and compassion during Gertrude's stay.
