Geraldine (Jeri) Taylor

December 1, 1940 - September 19, 2025

Geraldine "Jeri" Taylor, age 84, of Southbury, Connecticut, passed away peacefully at home on September 19, 2025. A Beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt and grandmother, Jeri will be remembered for her sharp mind, adventurous spirit and deep love for her family.

Born on December 1, 1940, Jeri was the daughter of the late Virginia and William Zeumer. She attended the University of Connecticut before embarking on a career marked by talent, versatility, and leadership. Jeri worked as a Human Resource Manager at GE Capital Services, served as a licensed representative for life, health, and group insurance, and later excelled as a real estate broker. True to her ambitious and independent nature, she also held a private pilot's license and managed a flight school.

Jeri is survived by her son, Montgomery Taylor and his wife Renee of Southbury, and her daughter, Heather Hickey and her husband Ken of Hilton Head. She was a proud grandma to Shaylin Greco, McKinley Hickey and Myles Hickey.

She is also survived by her sister, Barbara McCarthy, and will be fondly remembered by nieces, a nephew and extended family and friends.

Those who knew Jeri will remember her strength, determination, and the joy she brought to the lives of those around her. She will be deeply missed and forever remain in our hearts of all who knew her.

Visitation will be held for Geraldine on Tuesday, September 23,2025 from 4:00 - 6:00 PM at Munson-Lovetere Funeral Home, 235 Main Street N. Southbury.
