Southbury -
Mr. George H. LaPointe, 65, of Southbury died Saturday October 2, 2010 at his home. Mr. LaPointe was born August 25, 1945 in Waterbury to the late George H. and Julia K. (Kurcaba) LaPointe. He was a graduate of Naugatuck High School. He was a US Army veteran having served in Germany and Spain. Mr. LaPointe was for Heritage Village Corporation in Southbury for many years. He most recently worked for The Watermark at East Hill in Southbury. He also enjoyed fishing.
He is survived by his brother, Robert A. LaPointe of Providence, RI, his sister, Elise M. Callahan of Middlebury, an aunt, Sophie Hall of New Hartford, a niece, Hayley J. Callahan and a nephew, Taylor W. Callahan.

Services: A memorial Mass will be held on Saturday October 9th at 10 am at St. John of the Cross Church in Middlebury.
