Obituary

George 'Ted' LaBonne of Southbury, formerly of Manchester and Danbury, died on February 17, 2014 surrounded by his family at his home at Pomperaug Woods in Southbury. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Nancy and daughters, Lynne Henriquez and husband, Jose; Leigh Sillner and husband, Fred; 4 grandchildren, Rachele Brown and husband, Chris; Nancy Harrod and husband, Jeff; Alex Henriquez; and Courtney Sillner as well as 3 great-grandchildren, Desmond and Adia Brown and John Louis Harrod. He was predeceased by a son, Gregory Todd LaBonne.

Ted was a man involved in both church and community having served on several boards and fundraising efforts including the most dear to his heart, Immaculate High School. Ted served in both WWII and the Korean War. He was a lawyer by degree and worked in both insurance and financial planning. He was an avid golfer and traveler. He was a man who lived life and gave of himself to the fullest.

Location: Munson-Lovetere Southbury

Services: A Memorial Mass in celebration of his life will be held at Our Lady of the Lakes, 3 Old Town Park Rd., New Milford on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at noon.

Visitation: There will be no calling hours.
