George Robert Kurtz, 88, of Waterbury, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 29, 2015 at Waterbury Hospital. Mr. Kurtz was born October 25, 1926, in Waterbury, the son of the late George H. and Ruth (Wheeler) Kurtz. He was a WWII Army Veteran and a former employee of Clapp & Tuttle Fine Art Gallery of Woodbury, CT. He leaves one surviving brother Ned W. Kurtz of Waterbury and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his son Sanford W., a sister Ruth E. and his brothers Jack W. and Harry W. Kurtz.
