George W. Goodwin Jr., 80, of Heritage Village, passed on Friday, January 31, 2025 at Waterbury Hospital, after a brief illness. He was born in Jersey City, New Jersey, the son of the late George and Grace (Galvin) Goodwin.

George is survived by his loving wife Lorraine (Emr) Goodwin, brothers Jeffrey (Jane), Mark (Marcy), and Rory (Judy), sister-in-law Marita, a niece and three nephews, his step-son Thomas O'Hara (Morena), three step-daughters Kimberly Nardone (David), Kelley Odorisio (James), Heather Rose (Matt), nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

George was the Administrator of the Heritage Village Ambulance Association for over 17 years. He provided a valuable service to the community and will be greatly missed.

Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brother Douglas Goodwin.

There will be a celebration of life held Saturday, February 22, 2025 from 2:00 until 4:00 P.M. held at The Meeting House at Heritage Village located 1 Heritage Way Southbury, CT 06448.
