WATERBURY- Gary Bruce Reing, 57, of Waterbury and formerly of Woodbury, died Sunday, December 6, 2009 at St. Mary's Hospital in Waterbury .

Mr. Reing was born September 14, 1952, son of the late Francis W. and Ethel (Wesner) Reing. He grew up in Woodbury and graduated from Woodbury High School . He moved to Waterbury in 2000. He enjoyed playing the guitar and helping type the newsletters for the Independent Center in Waterbury.

He is survived by his brothers Bill of Machias, ME, Joe and his wife Nicole of Lakeside, CT, his sisters, Jacquie and her partner Ramsay Thom of Roxbury, CT, Diane and her husband Chris Abbot of Martha's Vineyard and Kathy and her husband Jorge Lucero of Cranston, RI, nephews Sixten Abbot, Wesner Reing, Bryant Reing and Kyle Reing, nieces Jessica, Rachel and Amber Lucero and his cat Clarence.

Services: A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 28th at 11a.m. at the Woodbury Funeral Home of Munson-Lovetere; 2 School St.
