Gary L. Hanson, born December 1, 1945, died September 22 in Blue Earth, MN. He was a decorated Marine and Vietnam veteran. Gary leaves behind his wife Carol (Cole Quick) and daughter Samantha-Sue of Thomaston. Step-sons Frank Quick of Austin, TX, Scott Quick, Steven Quick and his wife Debi and Stevens two children Amber-Lynn and Daniel all of Thomaston. He also leaves his mother Wanda (Hanson) Kallestad and siblings Carole, Tom, Mark, Gloria, Dawn, Kay, Karen and Kelly all of Minnesota and many nieces and nephews. Gary spent many years as a master carpenter throughout Connecticut. He has left a lasting and loving legacy in both his family and his work.

Funeral: United Methodist Church

Services: A Memorial service will be held at Woodbury's United Methodist Church, corner of Main St S. and Church St. on Saturday at 11am.

Visitation: Calling hours will be held from 7pm to 9pm on Friday at The Woodbury Funeral Home of Munson-Lovetere, 2 School St.
