SOUTHBURY- Mr. Gaetano M. Carra, 93, of Southbury, died Friday June 21, 2013 at River Glen Health Care Center. He was the husband of the late Rose (Pillera) Carra and Vivian (Randazzo) Carra.
Mr. Carra was born February 10, 1920 in Bronx, NY, son of the late Ciricao and Rosemarie (Visco) Carra. He has resided in Southbury for the past three years, previously living in Yonkers, NY. He worked as a printer in Mamaroneck, NY and Manhattan, NY for many years. Mr. Carra was a US Army veteran of WWII, having served during the Invasion of Normandy. He was a member of the Southbury Senior Center.

He is survived by a son Thomas M. Carra and his wife Laurel of Southbury, a sister Carol DeMarco of Poughkeepsie, NY, a grandson Thomas G. Carra, a great grandson, Thomas A. Carra and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a brother, Eugene Carra.

Services: A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 24, 2013 at Woodlawn Cemetery, Bronx, NY.

Visitation: Calling hours will be held Sunday, June 23 from 3-5 p.m. at the Southbury Funeral Home of Munson-Lovetere, 235 Main St. North.
