IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Frederick Joseph
Steinbrick Iii
February 28, 1962 – March 30, 2023
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Frederick 'Fred' J. Steinbrick III, 61, of Monroe, CT.
Fred proudly served as a supernumerary officer for Ansonia PD for 3 years (94'-97') and an officer for Monroe PD for 9 years (97'-06'). After leaving the force, Fred worked across Connecticut as a craftsman and finish carpenter. It was his greatest joy to find creative and beautiful ways to deliver function and design to his many wonderful clients - who he considered family.
Fred is survived by his wife of 36 years, Barbara, 4 children, Nicholas and wife Kristen, Maxwell and wife Melissa, Erin and husband Noah and his youngest Carly. He also leaves his mother, Dorothy and his 3 siblings, Ellen, Karen and husband Jim and Andy and wife Lynn. Fred loved and cherished his time with his many cousins, nieces and nephews. Fred is sorely missed.
A visitation will be held on Monday, April 3, 2023 from 4:00-6:30, directly followed by a tribute to Fred's life at Munson-Lovetere Funeral Home, 235 Main St. N. Southbury, CT 06488.
In lieu of flowers please donate in his honor to the American Heart Association. And please - from all of his family, book that doctors appointment you have been postponing. It's important.
