Frederick Cornelius "Neil" White, 86, of Heritage Village, died Wednesday December 13th at Waterbury Hospital. He was the husband of Beulah "Babe" (Turpin) White, formerly of Old Forge, New York.
Mr. White was born August 2, 1920 in Lyonsdale, New York son of the late Frederick A and Mary (Haley) White. A longtime resident of Ilion, New York, he enjoyed his retirement years in New Smyrna Beach, Florida and Southbury, Connecticut. He was a World War II veteran of the Army Air Corps where he served in the Pacific Theater from 1941 - 1945. He was employed by Remington Rand and retired from the Prudential Insurance Co. in 1979.
Besides his devoted wife of 60 years, he is survived by a sister Mavis Wiard of Harwich, MA, two sons, Mark and his wife Jean White of Woodbury, CT and Kirk and his wife Helen White of Syracuse, NY, four grandchildren, Kelly, Tara, Slater and Cooper, two great-grandchildren, Olivia and Finn, and many nephews, nieces and cousins. He was predeceased by his sister Elizabeth Bleau and his brother Daniel White.
