JENNINGS - FRANK K.

Francis Kirwin Jennings of Southbury, Connecticut passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 14, 2015 with his family by his side. Born December 17, 1929 in Allenhurst, New Jersey to James A. Jennings and Elizabeth Jennings, he lived life with passion.

He was an avid sports fan, loved golf and was a huge New York Rangers fan. Frank served his country as an Air Force veteran and went to graduate from Iona College. Extremely successful in business and Frank retired from Automatic Data Processing.

But these facts don't begin to honor the man. He lived an amazing life and touched many people within his kindness, humor, and generosity. For 61 years he was the loving and devoted husband to Colleen A. Jennings. Frank was a wonderful, proud father to Colleen Mary, Patrick, Maureen, Kathleen, Brian and Frank. His grandchildren will miss him tremendously and include: Christopher and Sara Nelson, Cole Jennings, Brianne McCafferty, Logan and Morgan Matthews, Kai and Kiana Jennings, and Michael, Lauryn, Jack and Hayden Jennings. He is also survived by his sisters Elizabeth Franklin and Gloria Claudet and brother Jim Jennings.

Funeral Services for Frank Jennings will be held at Saint Teresa of Avila Church, 146 Main Street So., Woodbury, CT. on Monday, May 18th, 2015 at 10:30 A.M. Friends and Family may gather at the Woodbury Funeral Home of Munson-Lovetere, 2 School Street, Woodbury, CT from 9:00 A.M. until 10:00 A.M. He will be laid to rest at Pine Hills Cemetery, Pine Hill Road, Southbury, CT with full military honors.

Visitation: Friends and Family may gather at the Woodbury Funeral Home of Munson-Lovetere, 2 School Street, Woodbury, CT from 9: 00 A.M. until 10: 00 A.M. until leaving for church on May 18, 2015.
