Obituary

SHEA-Francis Joseph Jr. Loving father of Sarah Young passed away on October 31st, 2006 at the New Milford Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Mr. Shea was born in Milton Mass on November 7th, 1930 son of Mary Agnes (Horn) Shea and Francis Joseph Shea. He served in the United States Navy and graduated from Columbia University in New York.

He worked for many years at a stock brokerage firm in New York City. For the past 15 years he was living in West Hartford, CT and was employed by the Internal Revenue Service until his retirement in 2005.

He is survived by his daughter Sarah Young and two grandchildren, Daniel and Alexandra of Washington, CT and a sister Dorothy Dempsey of Norwell, Mass.

A Service celebrating his life will be held at the Roxbury Congregational Church in Roxbury, CT on Saturday, November 11th at 11 a.m. Arrangements are by the Woodbury Funeral Home of Munson - Lovetere, 2 School St. The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made in his name to The American Cancer Society, Meriden Executive Park, 538 Preston Ave., Meriden, CT 06450.
