Francis E. Cole, 63, of Main St. North, died Thursday May 31st at St. Mary's Hospital in Waterbury after a brief illness. Mr. Cole was born August 29, 1943 in Woodbury son of the late Norman and Lillian (Hoxley) Cole. He was a woodsman all of his life. He was an adventurous Harley rider and a loyal friend to many.
He is survived by his three sons Michael Cole and his wife Heather of Bethlehem, Zachary Cole and Francis "Ike" Cole Jr. both of Woodbury, five brothers Harold Cole, Donald Cole and Walter Cole all of Woodbury, Billy Cole of New Hampshire and Arthur Cole of Bethlehem, five sisters Nancy Parnishkol, Edith Norton, and Shirley Wescott all of Woodbury, Judy Lamothe of Thomaston and Dorothy Merrill of Anchorage, Alaska, one granddaughter Zoie Katherine Cole of Bethlehem and he was loved by his many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers Norman Cole, Richard Cole and James Cole and two sisters Alice Thomas and Joan McCarthy.
A celebration of life will take place on Saturday June 9th at 2pm at Meadow Brook Farms, Middle Road Turnpike, Woodbury.
