Francis A. Brennan, 95, formerly of Woodbury, died Monday, June 8, 2015 at the Middlebury Convalescent Home. Frank was born in Naugatuck to Francis Brennan and Theresa (Malone) Brennan. He attended the Naugatuck public schools and served in the United States Army Air Corps during World War II.
He was employed by the Waterbury Republican-American for many years, and at the time of his retirement in the mid-nineteen eighties was Production Manager at the paper.
He was a communicant at St. Teresa of Avila Church and was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
Frank was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy (Grady) Brennan and his son, Robert Francis Brennan. He is survived by nephews Morgan O'Brien of Litchfield, David Thompson of Bethlehem, a niece, Kathryn Williams of Dana Point, CA, and their families.
Frank also had two sisters, Mary E. O'Brien and Theresa Clark, both now deceased.
Burial will follow in Middlebury Cemetery, Middlebury, CT. The Woodbury Funeral Home of Munson-Lovetere, 2 School St. is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be made through www.munsonloveterefuneralhome.com.
