Frances Rasmussen sadly passed away November 25th, 2023, at the age of 85 at Waterbury Hospital after a long illness.

Born in the Bronx, NY in 1938 to Abraham and Anna Haber, she married the late Charles D. Rasmussen in 1961 and happily lived in Westchester County, NY with her loving family for many years before moving to Southbury, CT. She was a pioneering advocate within the autism community, worked for organizations that supported the needs of the disabled and assisted in successful business ventures together with Charles. Most of all she loved her family and spending time together.

She is survived by her three sons Richard, David, Glenn, her sister Janet, grandchildren Lindsey, Alyssa, Giana, Jocelyn, daughters-in-law, and several nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved dearly.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, December 2, 2023 from 10:00 – 12:00 at the Munson-Lovetere Funeral Home, 235 Main Street North, Southbury, CT. Burial at Pine Hill Cemetery at 12:00 PM.
