Flora DeVivo (nee Dentice), of Woodbury, CT formerly of Middle Village, N.Y, died on Monday July 22, 2013 after a brief illness. Flora was born on May 7, 1928 in New York, N.Y, the daughter of the late Manfredi Dentice and Filomena Cappochio. Just recently she had celebrated her 85th birthday surrounded by her family and friends. She had a wonderful day. She celebrated 45 wedding anniversaries with the love of her life, Anthony A. DeVivo, who predeceased her in 2007. A unique and loving soul, Flora enjoyed spending time with her family and her dog Chance, crocheting, vacationing, watching her "stories," and a good scotch and soda. She also loved her occasional trip to the casino. All who knew her will miss her. For Flora, family was the most important part of life. She took great joy spending time with her daughter and son in law, Monica and Peter Gati of Woodbury. She cherished her five grandchildren, Samantha and her husband Steven, Pete, Kelsy, Zachary and Jakob. She was blessed with nieces and nephews that remained close with her through the years including Ron Kirchgessner, Linda Hili, Rose Ravalli, Peter Dentice, Blaise Ravalli, Camille Lukas, Wayne Dentice, Joanne Dentice Milling, and Cheryl Dentice McCormack.

Services: Funeral mass will be held Friday, July 26 at 1: 00 p.m. at St. Teresa's Church, Main St. South, Woodbury, CT. Burial will follow in New North Cemetery, Woodbury, CT.

Visitation: The family will receive friends at Munson Lovetere Funeral Home, 2 School Street Woodbury CT from 11: 00am- 1: 00pm on Friday July 26, 2013.
