There will be a church service for Fern, at First Church of Bethlehem, on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 2:00 pm

Fern Hungerford, 83, of Bethlehem, Connecticut passed away on Christmas Day. She was the widow of Harold Hungerford. She will be greatly missed by her children Raymond T. Hungerford and Lisa Hungerford and her grandsons: Justin and Joshua Madigosky. She is also survived by her sister Martha Payne and three brothers Rodney and his wife Kathy, Arthur and his wife Pauline Comfrey and Joseph Payne, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her parents Iris and Philip Payne.

After moving to Bethlehem, she was "active in town" and thru First Church of Bethlehem she served on the Mission Committee, and several other boards. Fern also taught Sunday school and was always a helping hand where needed. Fern also enjoyed gardening and being out in nature.

A private burial will be at Bethlehem Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
