Mrs. Fay H. (Broomfield) Halsband, died Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at her home. She was the wife of Sidney Halsband.

Mrs. Halsband was born May 26, 1944 in Providence, RI, daughter of the late Jacob and Ruth (Clamon) Broomfield. She resided in Southbury for the past 12 years previously living in New Hampshire, Florida and Rhode Island. Mrs. Halsband was a manager for low income housing in Connecticut and New Hampshire.

Besides her husband of 43 years, she leaves two sons, Joshua B. Halsband of Tokyo, Japan and David S. Halsband of Park Ridge, NJ, four grandchildren, five nieces and 2 nephews.

She was predeceased by a brother Frank Broomfield and a sister Arline Broomfield.
