Evelyn P. McKay, 89, formerly of Middlebury died Friday January 18, 2013 at Apple Rehab in Watertown. She was the wife of the late John Arnold McKay.

Mrs. McKay was born June 17, 1923 in Waterbury daughter of the late Joseph and Lucille (DiPietro) Parziale. She attended Waterbury Catholic High School and Post College. Mrs. McKay had worked at the Southbury Training School for ten years and at Mattatuck Manufacturing as a secretary for seventeen years. She enjoyed dogs, reading, travel and movies.

She is survived by 2 step children, Nancy and John McKay, 3 grandchildren, Robert Scott McKay, David Robert and Lisa Yitts, 5 great grandchildren, Michelle, Julia and Sofia Yitts, Naomi and Jonathan Robert, her niece, Wendy Beardsley, great nieces, Lee Anne D'Ambrose, Jane C. Connery, Barbara Henson, great great nephews, Justin Connery, Christopher Henson, and devoted friends Paul and Lucille Robert. She was predeceased by her son Robert.
