Eva was born in Vasilakion (Tarapsa), Greece in 1958, the daughter of Vasilios and Eleni (Nikolakakou) Kaloidis. She Immigrated to Woodbury, Connecticut where she married the love of her life Eftihios. Together, they ran a successful restaurant, Constantines, in Woodbury where Eva was truly beloved by all her loyal customers. To them, she was like family.

A personal note from her sons:

Eva was a special soul in this world. Her kindness, sensitivity, and empathy for all living things I have not found in many other people. The amount of times I have been told by customers how special to them, my mother was, is countless. Anyone who knew Eva knows that when you spoke with her, she would listen. She would make you feel seen. And that you would feel safe and comforted by her embrace, be it a hug, a word, or a hot plate of food.

May the transition be seamless Mom, we love you more than we ever could have expressed in this life.
