OAKVILLE-Eunice A.(Palmer) Booth, 94, of Charlotte died peacefully, with her family at her side, on March 25, 2011, at the Sardis Oaks Nursing Home.
Mrs. Booth was born on June 24, 1916, in Watertown, CT., one of seven children and the daughter of the late Augustine and Eva Palmer. Married to Carl S. Booth in 1935, she raised her four children in Oakville and was member of the Union Congregational Church there for 75 years.
She leaves her two daughters, Marion Montgomery of Charlotte, NC. and Elizabeth Paige and her husband Bill of Oakville; and two sons, John R. Booth and his wife Bernice of Aburndale, FL. and Carl S. Booth Jr. and his wife Sandy of Bethlehem in addition to 13 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great grandchildren.
Eunice was a former employee of Miller & Peck of Waterbury. She was a skilled seamstress and loved to crochet and knit a variety of beautiful things for her family, friends and to show at the yearly Bethlehem Fair - where she routinely won Blue Ribbons. However her pride, joy and dedication was raising her children and being involved in the lives of her large family.
She moved to Charlotte, NC in 1997, where she made many friends and formed a special bond with her granddaughter Kim Freeman and her family, who made her a part of their lives and watched over her care in her later years.
Burial will be in New North Cemetery Friday April 1, 2011 at 10 a.m.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Street, Memphis TN 38105.

Visitation: Family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday March 31, 2011 at the Woodbury Funeral Home, 2 School St.
