Obituary

Esther H. Meth of 462B Heritage Village died Sunday, November 2, 2008 at River Glen Health Center. She was the wife of the late Benson Meth. Mrs. Meth was born October 23, 1929 in Brooklyn, NY, daughter of the late Harry and Rose (Lilien) Harnick. She was raised in Brooklyn, she was a Norwalk resident for 10 years before living in Southbury for the last 30 years. She was the proprietor of The Honey Pot Antique Jewelry Shoppe in Southbury for 25 years. She was a beloved member of B'nai Israel where her philanthropic contributions included a scholarship fund, providing many hours of volunteer work to the congregational community.

She is survived by a son, Jeffrey Allan Rubin of Pinole, California, a nephew Roger H. Rubin and his wife Karen and a great niece JoAnna M. Rubin all of Annapolis, MD.

Funeral: B'nai Israel

Services: A Funeral service will be held on Thursday October 6th at 11: 00 a.m. at Congregation B'nai Israel, 444 Main Street North, Southbury, Ct 06488. Burial will follow at Melchizedek Cemetery in Waterbury.

Visitation: Shiva will be held at Thursday October 6th at 7: 00p.m at Congregation B'nai Israel's Weinberg Function Hall.
