IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Eric R.
Minck

Eric Randolph Minck May 26, 1952 – March 24, 2025
Eric Randolph Minck was never one for small talk – he preferred a good monologue, preferably about philosophy, politics, the nature of existence or the recent scientific article that he read and then researched. A lifelong thinker, he could spend hours pondering life's mysteries, often while digging in the dirt or listening to classical music. His mind was always turning, questioning, seeking.
Born on May 26, 1952, Eric was a man who believed in standing by his principles – sometimes quite literally, as evidenced by the length of his hair, which he grew in protest of political climates he did not approve of, for those wondering – it was mighty long. He was an observer of the world, a deep well of thoughts and theories, and someone who never shied away from the big questions.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Minck; his daughter, Sara Minck (Christopher Baxter); and his grandson, Troy Minck, who he was most proud of. He also leaves behind his sister, Valerie Ingham (Clifford), and a lifetime of musings that will live on in the memories of those who knew him. Eric was predeceased by his parents, Albert and Liljan Minck.
In his honor, take a moment to let your mind wander. Ask a question without expecting an answer. Listen to a symphony, get your hands in the earth, or simply sit in quiet contemplation. Eric would have liked that.
