Eric V. Laurentus, age 56, of Woodbury, CT, died peacefully on Monday, May 1st at St. Mary's Hospital after a brief illness. He was born in Bronx, NY on June 29 1960. He was the son of Catherine and Valdur Laurentus. He was employed with the Seymour school system as a network computer technician. He was an avid Grateful Dead fan and golfer, expert billiard player, and a die-hard New York sports fan of the Yankees, Giants and his beloved Rangers. Most of all, he was the loving father of Christopher and Kelly whom he cherished dearly. He is survived by his children, his twin brother Michael, brother John and his wife Sandy, nephews Johnny, Ryan, Derek, Michael and Patrik. He was predeceased by a brother Richard S. Calling hours will be held Thursday, May 4 from 5-8 at Munson-Lovetere Funeral Home in Woodbury. Memorial service on Friday, May 5 at 11:00 am at Sacred Heart Church in Southbury.
