Elizabeth (Holmes) Price, 94, of Southbury, CT, formerly of Falmouth and Weston, MA, died Sunday April 12th at The Watermark at East Hill. Mrs. Price was born September 8, 1914 in Brookline, MA, a daughter of the late Edwin and Edith (Besse) Holmes. Married for over 50 years to the late Archibald M. Price, she was predeceased by her sister Ellie, her brother Ed, and her son Richard. Betty is survived by three loving daughters, Jane Thompson of Atlanta, GA, Anne Iverson of Vonore, TN, and Margie Lee of Wayland, MA, 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Betty graduated from Beaver Country Day, Wellesley College (1936), and Amy Sacker's School of Interior Decorating. She was active in the Church of the Good Shepherd in Waban, MA and the United Church of Christ in Southbury, CT. Betty enjoyed arranging flowers, baking, and traveling. Energetic and spry, she was an avid bridge and tennis player up to her late 80's. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
