Elizabeth "Anne" Muscolino, 95, of Southbury died April 9, 2016 at River Glen Heath Care Center in Southbury.
She was the widow of George Muscolino.
She was born March 19, 1921 in Montgomery County, PA, the only daughter of Harry and Ruth Hagenbuch. After high school she entered nurse's training at Geisinger Memorial Hospital and became a registered nurse in 1942. She married George Muscolino in 1943 and moved to Bridgeport, CT where she worked at Bridgeport Hospital for many years. She was an excellent cook and loved to entertain her family. Throughout her life she was always active in some sort of craft. She knitted sweaters, scarfs, hats, and crocheted blankets for her family. Later she joined the Southbury Quilter's Club at the Senior Center where she quilted beautiful wall hangings, bedspreads, etc. for her family and for donation to others in Southbury.
