Eleanor K. (Lawson) Walker, 84, formerly of Middlebury died Thursday, January 28, 2010 at Glendale Center in Naugatuck. Born in Naugatuck on March 3, 1925 she was the daughter of the late Helen (Roberts) and Arthur Lawson.

Loving mother to Susan (Michael) Carrigan of Naples, FL, Thomas (Tami) Walker and Robert (AnneMarie) Walker both of Middlebury. Sister to Mary Mosley of Bristol,CT, Ann Sullivan of Willingboro, NJ and William Lawson of Sarasota, FL. Devoted grandmother to Peter, Kristen, and Jeffrey Bachelder, Dean and Ross Carrigan, Caitlyn, Matthew, Kathryn, Wylie and Kevin Walker. She also leaves behind seven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. Eleanor was predeceased by her husband George Walker, her daughter Cheryl (Harry) Bachelder, sisters Grace Baukus and Irene Donovan.

Services: A Mass will be celebrated on Monday, February 1st at 10 a.m. at St. John of the Cross Church, Middlebury. Burial will be in Lake Elise Cemetery, Middlebury in the spring.

Visitation: Friends may call at the Woodbury Funeral Home of Munson-Lovetere, 2 School St. on Sunday January 31st from 3-5 p.m.
