Eileen T. Pflegl was born July 2, 1943, at Waterbury Hospital and entered into rest on September 6, 2025.

Eileen graduated from Kaynor Technical School in 1961 for cosmetology. Eileen worked as a cosmetologist for many years then became a trained home health aide until retirement.

Eileen and her husband Peter loved to travel and fish across America. She was an avid photographer and was later nicknamed "Grandma Flash".

Eileen was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She cherished every moment spent with her family, such as outings and reunions.

Eileen was a purveyor of the Gospel. She loved her church family. She was an active member of the Christ the Redeemer Church in Southbury, Connecticut.

Eileen leaves behind her devoted husband Peter Pflegl. Her son Kurt and Sheri Pflegl; their children, Mackenzie and Sydney. Daughter Nicole Clark and her son Killian Clark. Daughter Christie and Pierre Renaud; their children Sarah, Alice'n and Zachary Renaud; great granddaughter Cassandra. Daughter Tara and Steven McGill and their daughter Aubree McGill. Son Christopher and Danielle Rescigno; their children Jacob and Olivia Rescigno.

The family welcomes you to Eileen's Celebration of Life on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Christ the Redeemer Church located 114 Roxbury Road Southbury, CT 06488.

In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family has designated the church community that was near and dear to Eileen's heart to receive donations.
