Eileen Frances (Morgan) Macary, 69, of Woodbury passed away Thursday, September 3, 2009 at her home.
Mrs. Macary was born April 6, 1940 in Waterbury, daughter of the late Frank and Lucille (O'Connor) Morgan. She was a graduate from Crosby High School and the Waterbury Hospital School of Nursing. As a Registered Nurse for 40 years, she retired from the Cook Willow Nursing Home in Plymouth. Mrs. Macary was a member of the Waterbury Hospital Nursing Alumni Association. Mrs. Macary was also an active member of the Spruce Bank Farm retirement community, especially involved in the successes of the annual St. Patrick's Day dinner and Christmas party. She also was an active member of the Red Hat Society.
She leaves a son, Christopher Macary of Maryland, a daughter, Mrs. David (Dana) LaCroix of Branford and two sisters, Mrs. Timothy (Maureen) Sullivan of Southbury and Ms. Barbara Morgan of Florida. She is also survived by her two grandsons, Benjamin and Matthew and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Patricia Westerlund.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to an animal rescue organization of donor's choice in memory of Max, her beloved canine.

Services: A memorial mass will be celebrated on, Thursday, September 10, 10 am at Sacred Heart Church, 910 Main Street South, Southbury.
Visitation: Calling hours will be held Wednesday, September 9, from 4: 30-7: 30pm at Munson-Lovetere Funeral Home, 235 Main Street North, Southbury.
