Eileen Bly

Eileen H. Bly, 97, passed away peacefully in her native Connecticut. A woman of wide‑ranging interests and boundless energy, she filled her life with gardening, traveling, reading, and a deep commitment to lifelong learning. Always active and sociable, Eileen devoted countless hours to volunteering and delighted in the company of friends, cultural outings, and community events. She maintained her decades‑long participation in water aerobics well into her nineties, a testament to her spirited approach to life.

Eileen leaves behind three daughters, a son, cherished grandchildren, and great‑grandchildren, all of whom carry forward her legacy of curiosity, kindness, and engagement with the world. Her ashes will rest beside those of her beloved husband in Darien, Connecticut, where their life together began and where their memory will endure.
