Eileen J. Callanan, 55, known fondly as "Beans", of Prospect, died peacefully surrounded by family and friends on Sunday, August 28, 2011 at Waterbury Hospital. Eileen was born June 24, 1956 in Waterbury, daughter of Vera Foster Callanan of California and the late Eugene Callanan. She was a graduate of Kennedy High School and the University of Connecticut. Eileen had worked at Carpin Manufacturing in Waterbury for many years. Besides her mother, she is survived by her former husband, Stephen Satkunas of Prospect; her brother, Patrick Callanan of Northfield; her sister, Janice Callanan of Laguna Hills, CA; her dogs, Cody and Poco and many good friends and peeps.
